* Until 415 PM CDT.

* At 346 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles east of
South Plains, or 16 miles south of Silverton, moving northeast at
10 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Caprock Canyon State Park, Quitaque, Valley Schools, and South
Plains.
