The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Eastern Cheyenne County in east central Colorado…
Northern Wallace County in west central Kansas…

* Until 715 PM MDT.

* At 610 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 13 miles north of Weskan to 10 miles west of
Cheyenne Wells, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Cheyenne Wells around 620 PM MDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Weskan and Sharon Springs.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 139 and 169.

Instructions

This thunderstorm is producing accumulating hail, which will make
driving hazardous, similar to snow or ice. If you must travel, be
aware of rapidly changing road conditions.
