* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Wichita County in west central Kansas…
Southeastern Wallace County in west central Kansas…
Southwestern Logan County in west central Kansas…
Eastern Greeley County in west central Kansas…

* Until 830 PM MDT/930 PM CDT/.

* At 721 PM MDT/821 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 13
miles south of Sharon Springs, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Wichita, southeastern Wallace, southwestern Logan and eastern
Greeley Counties, including the following locations… Marienthal,
Lydia, and Selkirk.

building.

This thunderstorm is producing accumulating hail, which will make
driving hazardous, similar to snow or ice. If you must travel, be
aware of rapidly changing road conditions.
