* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Smith County in northeastern Texas…
Southwestern Upshur County in northeastern Texas…
Southeastern Wood County in northeastern Texas…

* Until 1245 PM CDT.

* At 1153 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hawkins, or
16 miles southeast of Mineola, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Big Sandy, Hawkins, Winona, Red Springs and Pritchett.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
