Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr affecting Polk County.

Raccoon River at Van Meter Hwy R16 affecting Dallas and Polk
Counties.

Raccoon River at Des Moines IA 28 affecting Polk County.

Middle River near Indianola affecting Warren County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr, or from Walnut Creek
to the Des Moines River.

* WHEN…From Thursday afternoon to late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS…At 17.2 feet, Water affects portions of Fleur Dr.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:47 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 7.7 feet, and rising.
– Forecast…The river will rise to 11.9 feet tomorrow morning. It
will rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon, and crest
around 17.5 feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below
flood stage Sunday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
