…The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Flood Warning
for the following river in Kansas…

Republican River near Scandia affecting Republic County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Republican River near Scandia.

* WHEN…From late tonight to late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS…At 10.0 feet, Lowlands along the river flood. At 11.0
feet, Low lying rural roads flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 2:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 3.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage to 10.7 feet
just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
late tonight to 3.8 feet Sunday evening. It will rise to 4.1 feet
early Monday morning. It will then fall again and remain below
flood stage.
– Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

Instructions

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
