…RED FLAG WARNING FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND CENTRAL
AND SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA TODAY…

.Breezy and dry conditions on the outer periphery of Hurricane
Isaias combined with very dry fuels will produce red flag
conditions across portions of central and southwest Louisiana and
southeast Texas through this afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Red
Flag Warning for for low relative humidity and dry fuels for
portions of southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana, which is in
effect until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA…Fire Weather Zone 141 Northern Calcasieu, Fire
Weather Zone 241 Southern Calcasieu, Fire Weather Zone 516
Northern Orange and Fire Weather Zone 616 Southern Orange.

* TIMING…Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* WINDS…Northeast 5 to 15 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 29 percent.

* TEMPERATURES…Up to 92.

* LIGHTNING…

* IMPACTS…Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
