…The National Weather Service in Norman OK has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Oklahoma…

Chikaskia River near Blackwell affecting Grant and Kay Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Chikaskia River near Blackwell.

* WHEN…From Monday morning to Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 30.0 feet, Several residences may be surrounded with
street depths approaching 2 feet in the northeast portions of
Blackwell. Highway 177 north of Blackwell may be flooded… while
Hubbard Road may be impassable southeast of Blackwell. Rural lands
are covered by floodwaters ranging up to 2 feet in depth in
extreme northeastern Grant and Kay counties.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 2:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.2 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 28.0 feet.
– Forecast…The Chikaskia River is expected to rise above
flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 30.5 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday
morning.
– Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
