Southwestern Hamilton County in southwestern Kansas…
* Until 715 PM MDT.
* At 641 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Coolidge,
moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD…Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Hamilton County.
This warning replaces the previous warning for northern Hamilton
County.
Instructions
This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to shelter inside a strong building, and stay away from windows.
