Navasota River Near Easterly affecting Robertson and Leon Counties.

For the Navasota River…including Groesbeck, Easterly…Minor
flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Navasota River near Easterly.

* WHEN…Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding below Easterly is
expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 21.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
Thursday evening and continue falling to 16.1 feet early Sunday
afternoon.
– Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

Instructions

Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when
walking near riverbanks.
