The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southwestern McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma…
Central Red River County in northeastern Texas…

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 614 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles northwest
of Bagwell, or 22 miles northwest of Clarksville, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Clarksville, Idabel, Manchester, Bagwell, Detroit, Millerton,
Garvin, Negley, Albion, Silver City, Bryarly, Farmers Hill,
Redland, Kiomatia, English, Kanawha, Woodland and Holly Creek.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of nature’s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
