Northwestern Chase County in southwestern Nebraska…
* Until 1045 PM MDT.
* At 1007 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles south of Ogallala to 10 miles northwest of
Grant to near Sixteen-Mile Corner, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include…
Ogallala, Grant, Brule, Madrid, Venango, Elsie, Lamar, Chase, Wild
Horse Spring, and Brandon.
This includes the following highways…
Highway 61 between mile markers 48 and 86.
Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 115 and 126.
