Details

At 1014 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Gothenburg to near Moorefield. Movement
was southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Farnam.

This storm currently has Severe Thunderstorm Warnings in effect for
portions of Lincoln and Frontier counties, but at this time it
appears the severe portion of this storm could slide just southwest
and south of Dawson County.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
south central Nebraska.
