…The National Weather Service in Wichita KS has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Kansas…

Chikaskia River near Corbin affecting Sumner County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE…Chikaskia River near Corbin.

* WHEN…From early this morning to this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 10.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying areas can be
expected, especially along the right bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:16 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.6
feet early this morning. It will then fall below flood stage
late this morning.
– Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

Instructions

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don’t
drown.
