…The National Weather Service in Springfield MO has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Kansas…

Spring River above Baxter Springs affecting Cherokee County.

For the Spring River…including Baxter Springs…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Spring River above Baxter Springs.

* WHEN…From Friday morning to Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Water level reaches the bottom of Rainbow
Bridge Crossing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 2:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 4.7 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 18.3 feet early Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday
morning.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
