* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Kit Carson County in east central Colorado…
Northwestern Sherman County in northwestern Kansas…

* Until 645 PM MDT.

* At 546 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles south of Cope to 9 miles south of Seibert,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near…
Seibert and Vona around 550 PM MDT.
Stratton around 605 PM MDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Bethune and Burlington.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 70 in Kansas near mile marker 0.
Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 396 and 450.
Highway 385 between mile markers 170 and 206, and near mile marker
211.
