Details

At 908 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Walnut to near Arma to 8 miles southeast
of Mindenmines. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Pittsburg, Prairie State Park, Lamar, Frontenac, Girard, Arma,
Liberal, Cherokee, Weir, Mulberry, Scammon, Chicopee, Mccune,
Nashville, Mindenmines, Franklin, Arcadia, Asbury, Lamar Heights, and
Hepler.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
southeastern Kansas…and southwestern and west central Missouri.
