* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Western Hughes County in central South Dakota…
Eastern Stanley County in central South Dakota…

* WHEN…Until 215 AM CDT /115 AM MDT/.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1108 PM CDT /1008 PM MDT/, emergency management reported minor
street flooding in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Up to 1 inch of rain has
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Pierre and Fort Pierre.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
