The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Lafayette County in west central Missouri…
Johnson County in west central Missouri…

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 933 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Odessa to 7 miles north of Holden to East
Lynne, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated. Line has a history of 60-65 MPH winds.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Warrensburg, Odessa, Higginsville, Lexington, Knob Noster,
Concordia, Holden, Whiteman Air Force Base, Waverly, Wellington,
Leeton, Corder, Alma, Chilhowee, Kingsville, Mayview, Whiteman Afb,
Lake Lafayette, Centerview, and Emma.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 32 and
62.

Instructions

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for west central
Missouri.
