At 1146 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Stanley to near Winthrop to near Urbana.
Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Independence, Manchester, Center Point, Urbana, Central City,
Edgewood, Winthrop, Earlville, Walker, Alburnett, Coggon, Quasqueton,
Lamont, Delhi, Ryan, Rowley, Greeley, Aurora, Prairieburg, and
Dundee.
This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 39 and 49.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
