Details

At 159 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Dry Wood Housing, or 21 miles northwest of Pine Ridge, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Oglala, Lonesome Valley, Dry Wood Housing, Goose Neck Housing,
Rockyford, Thunder Valley, Loneman, Sharps Corner, South Lakeside,
southwestern Badlands National Park and northwestern Pine Ridge
Reservation.
