* WHAT…For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 105. For the
Wind Advisory, south winds up to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
expected.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, south central, and
southeast Kansas.

* WHEN…For the Heat Advisory, until 8 PM CDT Thursday. For the
Wind Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to 6 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Hot
temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
