Lake County in northeastern Minnesota…

* Until 300 PM CDT.

* At 136 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Togo to near Virginia to near Cotton, moving
east at 60 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Virginia, Mountain Iron, Gilbert, Biwabik, Cotton, and Meadow
Brook around 140 PM CDT.
Aurora, Cook, and Whiteface Reservoir around 145 PM CDT.
Lake Vermilion, Hoyt Lakes, and Embarrass around 150 PM CDT.
Babbitt, Tower, and Soudan Underground Mine State Park around 155
PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Fairbanks, Wolf Lake, Birch Lake, Bear Head Lake State Park, Boundary
Waters Canoe Area Wilderness Near Trout Lake, Brimson, Robinson,
White Iron Lake, Burntside Lake and Ely. Campers in the Boundary
Waters should prepare for incoming severe storms.
