Details

At 729 PM CDT/629 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm over Monument, or 11 miles northwest of Eunice, moving
northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Hobbs, Eunice, Monument, Nadine, Eunice Airport, Lea County Regional
Airport, Industrial Airpark, and Oil Center.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
