Details

* WHAT…For the first Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 110.
For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat
index values up to 111 expected. For the second Heat Advisory,
heat index values up to 110 expected.

* WHERE…Portions of East Arkansas, North Mississippi, Southeast
Missouri, and West Tennessee.

* WHEN…For the first Heat Advisory, until noon CDT Thursday. For
the Extreme Heat Warning, from noon to 8 PM CDT Thursday. For the
second Heat Advisory, from 8 PM Thursday to 8 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Instructions

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
