Details

.5 to 8 inches of rain fell across portions of southeast Minnesota
overnight which led to flooding over roadways and road closures. An
additional 1 to 3 inches, locally up to 5 inches, is possible after 8
AM CDT today which could lead to additional flooding impacts,
especially over areas that saw the highest rainfall totals overnight.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Minnesota, including the following
counties, Fillmore, Houston, Mower, Olmsted and Winona.

* WHEN…Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Additional rainfall is expected throughout the day over areas
that saw 5 to 8 inches of rain overnight.
