* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
South central Hand County in central South Dakota…
Northeastern Buffalo County in central South Dakota…

* Until 415 PM CDT.

* At 326 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Etbauer Hill,
or 13 miles northeast of Fort Thompson, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
south central Hand and northeastern Buffalo Counties, including the
following locations… eastern Crow Creek Reservation.

Instructions

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
