Southeastern Chase County in southwestern Nebraska…
Southwestern Hayes County in southwestern Nebraska…

* Until 1115 PM CDT/1015 PM MDT/.

* At 1024 PM CDT/924 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near
Wauneta, or 16 miles southwest of Hayes Center, moving east
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Hayes Center, Wauneta, Hamlet, and Area A Campground.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 25 and 27, and between
mile markers 29 and 30.
