Details

At 255 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Lake Sharpe to 7 miles
north of Colome. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Fort Thompson, Highmore, Lower Brule, Presho, Oacoma, Kennebec,
Reliance, Shelby, Iona, Stephan, Ree Heights, Cedar Creek Rec Area,
Fate Dam, Medicine Butte, Dude Ranch, Lake Sharpe, Etbauer Hill,
Earling Hill, Lees Corner, and West Bend Rec Area.
