Northeastern Sedgwick County in south central Kansas…
Eastern Harvey County in south central Kansas…
Northern Butler County in south central Kansas…

* Until 1000 AM CDT.

* At 915 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Potwin, or 6
miles east of Whitewater, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Newton, El Dorado, Park City, Valley Center, Hesston, North Newton,
Moundridge, Sedgwick, Galva, Whitewater, Potwin, Cassoday, El
Dorado State Park, and El Dorado Lake.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 17 and 55, and between Mile
Markers 59 and 60.
