Southwestern McPherson County in north central South Dakota…

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 345 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near New Town
Corner, or 9 miles east of Eureka, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Trained spotters reported. At 322 PM, 1 inch hail was
reported 7 miles to the north-northeast of Eureka.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
