At 248 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Garland. This storm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Garland and Rowlett around 255 PM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this storm include Lake Ray Hubbard.
This includes Interstate 30 between mile markers 54 and 64.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
