The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Angelina County in eastern Texas…
Southern Nacogdoches County in eastern Texas…

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 539 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles west of
Woden, or 9 miles south of Nacogdoches, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Lufkin, Hudson, Huntington, Woden, Etoile, Pollok, Chireno, Homer,
Redland, Clawson, Shawnee and Central.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of nature’s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Wind damage with this storm will occur before any rain or lightning.
Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover. Seek
shelter immediately inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
