Details

At 848 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Comanche to near Brownwood. Movement was
south at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Winds of 40 to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Mullin around 905 PM CDT.
Goldthwaite around 925 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Regency, Bozar,
Priddy, Indian Gap, Newburg, Center City, Star, Democrat, Van Dyke,
and Pottsville.

Instructions

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
central Texas.
