The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Camp County in northeastern Texas…
Central Morris County in northeastern Texas…
Southeastern Titus County in northeastern Texas…

* Until 500 PM CDT.

* At 358 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cason, or 6
miles northeast of Pittsburg, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Mount Pleasant, Pittsburg, Cason, Rocky Mound, Roeder and Harvard.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of nature’s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
