* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Cherokee County in northeastern Texas…

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 814 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles south of
Maydelle, or 11 miles southwest of Rusk, moving northeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Rusk and Alto.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
