THIS EVENING DUE TO GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FALL
RIVER COUNTY AREA, PINE RIDGE AREA, BADLANDS AREA, BENNETT COUNTY
AREA, AND WESTON COUNTY PLAINS…

.Warmer dry air will push into the area. Relative humidity across
portions of northeastern Wyoming and far southwestern South Dakota
will drop to near 15 percent. The dry air will combine with gusty
northwest winds to support critical fire weather conditions this
afternoon and early evening.

* AFFECTED AREA…Fire Weather Zones 317, 322, 326, 332, and 333.

* TIMING…From noon today to 8 PM MDT this evening.

* WINDS…Northwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…Relative Humidity as low as 15 percent.

* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.
