…The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas…
San Antonio River At Goliad affecting Victoria, Calhoun, Goliad and
Refugio Counties.
For the San Antonio River…including Goliad…Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…San Antonio River at Goliad.
* WHEN…From late Thursday night to Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…Impact…At 25.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs,
with water in the lowest areas of Goliad State Park. Livestock
below Goliad to the Guadalupe River confluence are cut off and
potentially drown.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 4.5 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
Friday morning to a crest of 25.4 feet early Friday afternoon. It
will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
– Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 25.5
feet on 03/23/2015.

Instructions
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
