* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE…All of southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, southwest
Indiana, and western Kentucky.

* WHEN…From Thursday afternoon through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Repeat rounds of thunderstorms over the next several days will
increase the threat for flooding. While 1 to 2 inches is forecast
on average, the flooding threat is more from any storms that
might sit or repeat over the same areas…where 2 to 3 times that
average amount may be enhanced locally, leading to flood issues.
