Details

At 230 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles northeast of Berryton to 7 miles west
of Osage City. Movement was southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Eastern Topeka, Lawrence, Ottawa, Baldwin City, Osage City,
Carbondale, Tecumseh, Eudora, Richland, Wellsville, Overbrook,
Lyndon, Centropolis, Burlingame, Perry, Pomona, Meriden, Scranton,
Lecompton, and Waverly.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35 between mile markers 150 and 198.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 145 and 149, and between mile
markers 179 and 205.
