Details

At 302 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Custer, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Custer, Stockade Lake, Mount Coolidge, Blue Bell, Legion Lake,
Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial and State Game
Lodge.

Instructions

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm is producing large quantities of hail. Driving through
deep hail is like driving on slushy roads. Slow down and do not brake
suddenly.
