Details
At 556 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Lisco to near Twin
Buttes. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Sidney, Lodgepole, Dalton, Gurley, Colton, Sunol, Lorenzo, Sidney
Municipal Airport, and Cheyenne County Fairgrounds.
This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 55 and
76.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
