Details
At 756 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles west of Brownlee, or 20 miles northeast of Mullen, moving
southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Brownlee and Giant Hill.
This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 166 and 170.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
