Details

At 447 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mount Pleasant, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects
is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Mount Pleasant, New London, Danville, Morning Sun, Middletown, Mount
Union, Henry County Fairgrounds, Big Hollow Recreation Area, Pleasant
Grove, Mount Pleasant Municipal Arpt, Yarmouth, and Prairie Grove.

Instructions

Conditions are favorable for the development of funnel clouds, and
possibly brief, weak tornadoes. The National Weather Service will
continue to closely monitor the situation, and may issue a Tornado
Warning if the threat increases. If you see a funnel cloud please
seek shelter indoors and then contact your local law enforcement
agency for relay to the National Weather Service.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
