Details

At 509 PM CDT, the public reported a strong thunderstorm near
Kinross, or 18 miles northeast of Sigourney, moving west at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Public. At 500 PM CDT, public reported hail to the size of
a half inch northwest of Wellman, Iowa.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects
is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Wellman, North English, South English, Parnell, Millersburg, Kinross,
Webster, Holbrook, and Lake Belva Deer Park.

Instructions

Conditions are favorable for the development of funnel clouds, and
possibly brief, weak tornadoes. The National Weather Service will
continue to closely monitor the situation, and may issue a Tornado
Warning if the threat increases. If you see a funnel cloud please
seek shelter indoors and then contact your local law enforcement
agency for relay to the National Weather Service.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
