Eastern Story County in central Iowa…
West central Marshall County in central Iowa…

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 526 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over McCallsburg,
or 10 miles north of Nevada, moving southeast at 30 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR STORY AND MARSHALL COUNTIES.

HAZARD…Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Trained weather spotters reported baseball sized hail
one mile northeast of Story City.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include…
Nevada, State Center, Colo, Zearing, Collins, McCallsburg, Clemons,
and St. Anthony.
