* WHAT…For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 96 expected.
For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat
index values of 100 to 105 possible. Lows tonight in the 70s.

* WHERE…Morrison, Todd, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Douglas Counties.

* WHEN…For the Heat Advisory, from noon today to 11 AM CDT Sunday.
For the Extreme Heat Watch, from Sunday morning through Sunday
evening.

* IMPACTS…Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Instructions

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
