* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Jones County in central South Dakota…
Northwestern Lyman County in central South Dakota…
Southeastern Stanley County in central South Dakota…

* Until 430 PM CDT /330 PM MDT/.

* At 348 PM CDT /248 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 8
miles southeast of Wendte, or 19 miles north of Murdo, moving east
at 30 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Northeastern Jones, Northwestern Lyman and Southeastern Stanley
Counties.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds.
