The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Langlade County in north central Wisconsin…
Northern Oconto County in northeastern Wisconsin…

* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 931 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
6 miles southwest of Popple River to 10 miles north of Veterans
Memorial County Park, or along a line from 13 miles northeast of
Crandon to 14 miles southwest of Crandon, moving southeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near…
Pearson and Ma Ka Ja Wan Scout Reservation around 945 AM CDT.
McCaslin Mountain Natural Area around 1005 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Post
Lake, Freeman, Pickerel, Choate, Lily, Lawrence Lake Natural Area,
Hollister, Townsend, Boot Lake Campground and Lakewood.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
