At noon MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Blue Bell, or 9 miles southeast of Custer, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Custer, Blue Bell, Custer State Park, Mount Coolidge, Legion Lake,
Buffalo Corrals, Wind Cave National Park, Stockade Lake and State
Game Lodge.
